The Danish embassy in South Africa has the opportunity to support THREE danish researchers/practitioners to participate in the YWP 2017 conference in Cape Town, South Africa. To read more about the YWP conference click here!
The program will cover the expenses for the conference registration fee, flights – international and accommodation. Any other expenses incurred will be at the researchers own expense.
Send us a motivated application if you would like to represent YWPDK at the conference. The deadline for submission is Friday the 27th of October 2017. The application should be in English and no more than half a page. It should cover why you should participate, how your participation will contribute to the work of YWPDK, and how you plan to contribute to the work towards the IWA-2020 conference in Copenhagen. It is furthermore mandatory that the participant is able to meet the requirements listed below.
The young researcher/practitioner will be required to fulfill the following responsibilities at the IYWPC:
- Present their research, at present state, through the 2-minute poster presentation slots.
- In preparation for this the researcher will be require to complete and submit a detailed abstract of their research.
- Participate in a rapporteur programme gathering key messages from allocated sessions
- Further information on the rapporteur sessions, templates etc. will be provided 2 weeks before the conference.
