The Regional Group of  Central Denmark - (formally known as Aarhus regional group) consists of active YWPDK members mainly residing in Aarhus and the surrounding larger cities.

The main objective of the regional group is to create a local network of likeminded young water professionals from across the water sector. This is done by setting up a variety of events; company visits, technical tours, social events etc.

The events are organized by the regional representative supported by the regional driving members.

Joakim Bach Kaas (regional representative) Working as a water treatment engineer at Grundfos with the main focus on developing new water treatment solutions and controls.

Activities for 2025

We are continues working up planning new and exciting events for our members in the central region. We have in 2025 had a mix for social events, e.g. playing padel tennis and networking, and technical tours, e.g. visiting Søholt waste water treatment plant.
