Join us for our latest YWP initiative, a Nordic webinar series!

We have joined forces with the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish chapters to bring you this exciting webinar series, exploring different aspects of the water sector.

The second webinar will be facilitated by the Swedish chapter where Glenn Johansson will walk us through his work with the title “Innovative Bioretention Filters Sorption Materials for the Treatment of Multi-Polluted Stormwater“.

A summery of the presentation: Glenn Johansson is a PhD candidate in the Division of Water Environment Technology at Chalmers. His research focuses on treating polluted stormwater using innovative, nature-based bioretention filters. The project aims to optimize bioretention design by evaluating filter materials such as biochar, peat, and bottom ash in combination with selected plants, helping address growing pressures on urban stormwater systems driven by population growth, urbanization, and changing weather patterns.
