YWPDK Capital Region: Tour of Carlsberg Byen

Calling all YWPs in Copenhagen!

Summer is slowly reaching an end and we are back from vacation, getting back into the work routine.
What better way to end the summer, than to begin the autumn with a YWP meeting?

The meeting will be a perfect mix of networking, learning and creating.

Tour of Carlsberg Byen

Copenhagen has the first implemented nature-based urban drainage system that collects huge amounts of water during extreme rain events. This is the Copenhagen Cloudburst Masterplan – A series of seemingly public parks, sports fields and small gardens  that moonlight as retention basins.

Carlsberg Byen is part of the Cloudburst Masterplan and there are a lot of innovative solutions! Sarah Lyngsø will give us a tour of the area and will explain how the solutions are connected to each other.
Sarah is a senior landscape architect that has been part of iconic flood protection projects.

Meeting & networking
Afterwards we will end at Beat Café where we will talk about what we wish from the organization, what events interest and inspire us, which will play an important role in shaping the Copenhagen region of YWPDK.
In other words, it will be the perfect opportunity to learn, network, and socialize with other YWPs.

Meeting 17:30 at the metro Enghave Plads
17:30-18:30: Tour around Carlsberg ending at 18:30 (more or less)
18:45-19:45: Meeting & networking at Beat Café
