Meet Matias Hede, our YWPDK profile for May 2017. Matias is an environmental engineer at the consulting company Orbicon. He is working with different fields within water managements, among them, climate adaption and related business cases, and have been an active member of the YWPDK the latest years.

Young Water Professionals Denmark (YWPDK) invites its members and colleagues for a visit to the Danish Technological Institute, Aarhus. The upcoming event will be held on the 1st of May (15.00 – 17.00) and will include small presentation on current work and innovation tasks within water and networking. YWPDK Profile March 2017

Meet Lærke Kit Sangill, our YWPDK profile for March 2017. Lærke is a Landscape Architect at VandCenter Syd working with development and implementation of green structures in Odense. Lærke is an active member of YWPDK in Odense, and helping YWPDK with layout etc. of posters, flyers and sponsor materiales.

Copenhagen Urban Lab

YWPDK is co-financing and co-organizing the Copenhagen Urban Lab this June along with five other organizations. The Urban Lab is intended for young professionals from all over the world. The Urban Lab committee will select the best mix of candidates to spend 10 days working on cloudburst management of the area around Saint Jørgen’s Lake. Travel and accommodation will be covered for the participants.

Meet Asger Ryge Petersen, our YWPDK profile for December 2016. Asger is a data analyst at Ramboll working with water and natural resources. Asger is an active member of YWPDK in Aarhus, and helped plan the YWPDK “julehygge” in Aarhus this year.

Simultaneously ”julehygge” in Aarhus, Odense and Copenhagen

The yearly YWPDK ”julehygge” to place simultaneously in Aarhus, Odense and Copenhagen with more than 60 participants. Our regional representatives had arranged the Christmas events in collaboration with our local host. A great thanks to Rambøll in Aarhus, Sweco in Odense and COWI in Copenhagen for hosting the events, and contributing to the technical presentations. We will hopefully see you all again next year. Merry christmas!
